All in-store sales are final. All trade show sales are final. Point-of-sale items are sold "as is" and cannot be returned for any reason. Authorized buyers are given ample opportunity to inspect all merchandise at time of purchase and payment is due upon receipt of goods.
G.E.M. Enterprises is a wholesale vendor. You must have a business and resale license to apply for an account.
Advance payment is required for all purchases, unless you already have an account with us. Choose from one of the following methods:
G.E.M. Enterprises is a Registered Merchant with PayPal because we want to your online transaction to be secure and safe from fraud. Your PayPal account is free and your personal information is protected by state-of-the-art technology.
When your order is received, we will email your confirmation. You may then mail us your check. Once it has cleared, we will ship your order to you.
Together with your goods you will receive an invoice, which you should file carefully. You will need the document in case of a return, or for your insurance, in case of theft or damage.
We process and ship your order as soon as possible. Typical order processing time prior to shipping your order is 24-48 hours. You will receive an order confirmation via email containing ship date, estimated delivery date and tracking numbers.
Our normal in-stock status is 95%+. Should an item be temporarily out of stock, we will note this in our online catalog.
Customers are responsible for all shipping charges. For most orders, we ship via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation for $5.00. For express/overnight requests we ship via FedEx with prices starting at $20.00. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. COD service is not available.
We cannot ship product purchases via personal checks until the check clears the bank. Address on company check must be the same as the ship to address. If not, we cannot accept that company check, but can still do business on a credit card basis.
For USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation, you can track your package on USPS by using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation e-mail.
For UPS ground shipments, two-day or overnight orders, you can track your package on UPS by using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation e-mail.
For FedEx ground shipments, two-day or overnight orders, you can track your package on FedEx by using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation e-mail.
If you do not receive your tracking number within 48-hours after ordering, please e-mail us at Customer Service or call us at 1-888-465-7668, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central Time.
G.E.M. Enterprises' standard period for memo items is 15 days. If you would like to see an item or present a selection for your customer to choose from, contact us. You must have an account in good standing to receive stones on memo. Because many of our gems are one-of-a-kind pieces we ask our customers for prompt return of memo goods. Memo goods not returned within the specified time will be considered "sold" and will be billed accordingly. Late fees will apply if payment is not received within 30 days of shipping. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges.
If you already have an established account with us, we can grant you credit terms. Please contact us for details. To establish an account, you will need to be listed in the Jewelers' Board of Trade (JBT) or supply us with trade references. If you cannot meet these conditions, we require advance payment.
We will impose a Late Payment Fee of $25.00 if we do not receive your Payment by the Payment Due Date shown on your Invoice or Statement.
We will impose a Returned Check Fee of $25.00 if any check or other instrument sent to us, or any electronic payment authorization you provide us in payment on your Account is not honored upon first presentation, even if the check, instrument or electronic authorization is later honored.
Items purchased from our online store can be accepted for return or exchange. Returns must be authorized and within 30 days of purchase date. Important: No items may be returned to G.E.M. Enterprises without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) or the merchandise will be considered an unauthorized return. The purchase date is the date printed on the sales receipt or invoice enclosed with your order. No returns can be made after 30 days of the purchase date or without a return authorization. Authorized returns must be in original, unaltered packaging and accompanied by a copy of the sales receipt or invoice with your RMA noted at the top of the page, and are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee for normal items, 40% on special order items. Items must be returned via UPS or insured parcel post. Charges for Shipping, Handling & Insurance are not refundable. Authorized returns will receive credit on the original credit card used to make the purchase (minus the above listed fees). If payment was made by check, a refund will be mailed to you (minus the above listed fees). Please allow up to 4 business weeks to process your refund. All authorized returns must first be inspected for use or damage before a full or partial credit can be issued. No stone that has been set/mounted or attempted to be set/mounted by customer (or customer's representative) shall be accepted for return or credit of any kind. Please allow up to 4 business weeks to process the return.
"Unauthorized returns" (packages mailed without an RMA, see above), will receive a credit memo for future purchases less a 30% re-stock charge and the original shipping costs we incurred to send you your order. No cash or credit card refunds are available for unauthorized returns.
Contact us within 15 days of the date of shipment of your order, and your claim will be processed immediately. Note: Established procedures by UPS, USPS and FedEx, must be complied with or they have legal right to deny your claim.
